Beware the Ides of March

Well folks so much for my last post on office harmony and camaraderie after a fun happy hour. The merger axe looks like it may finally be swinging at my office.

Nothing official for me yet. Which is funny, my immediate supervisor [who's Italian - nice guy- talks with his hands a lot] is lamenting like a misha right now, that the sky will be falling. His boss [my bosses' boss] is like a karate zen master - eternally [& almost failingly] optimistic.

Well, apparently [we found out today] we will know who's right next week. My bosses' boss' new boss [get that - three steps up from me] is coming to town next week on [yup, you guessed it from the title didnt you? so smart] the 15th! to visit his newest underlings....

...but will he come bearing pink slips, and severance packages?! Ah, stay tuned my friends...
