Neat happenings...

Thanks Adri for this little gem, go to wikipedia.org, enter your b-day, list three neat facts, two births, and one death...

Facts of Sept 24 -
1493 - Christopher Columbus departs for his 2nd expedition to the new world.

1789 - The US Supreme Court, Attorney General, AND US Post Office all established. [This was also, obviously, the last day Congress accomplished anything meaningful :P]

1948 - Honda Motor Co is founded

Births of Sept 24 -
I have to give three, the one I ALWAYS knew about, 'cause as a kid, he rocked my world...was Jim Henson [b.1936], the Muppets creator - aka Kermit the Frog!

But there are two cool ones I did NOT know I share a b-day with...
1 - Kevin Sorbo [b.1958], aka Tv's HERCULES! Wahoo! Hunka hunka strong man

2 - Even better than Hercules! I mean OMG OMG OMG! in 1724, Sir Arthur Guiness was born on Sept 24th! Thick BEER for everyone! YAY! Now why isn't OUR b-day a Irish National Holiday!!?!

Deaths of Sept 24th
Another childhood one...
