Where do you see yourself?

Taking an item from Baxter [Baxter I owe you like two or three drinks now!]- she's come up with the perfect categorizations of corporate life - which ones are you?

1. Cubicle Guy: This is the guy that you rarely see, but you hear all the time. You hear all his phone conversations, he answers when you call to him from over the cubicle wall, but he just doesn't come out that often, sequestering himself behind his particle-board walls. You can liken him to the next-door neighbor Wilson from Home Improvement.

2. Micromanager Man: The boss who can't let go. Maybe it's even a boss, but he feels like he must have a part in everything that happens. Known for calling insane amounts of meetings.

3. Meeting Monger: The person who thrives on the meetings called by Micromanager Man. Takes copious notes, asks questions when everyone else is just ready for the meeting to be over, and stays after meetings to discuss the possibility of having another meeting to discuss a point raised in the previous meeting.

4. Laid-Back Dude: This person seems to have a lackadaisical managerial style, but in reality knows absolutely everything about everything in the office. If Laid-Back Dude is ever hit by a bus, everyone in the office is screwed because all the knowledge goes with him/her.

5. The Elder Statesperson: This coworker is older than God's grandparents (or might appear to be to you), and thus has earned the right to be slightly eccentric, or at least believes that they have. May be heard to say things like, "Back in my time, we did things such-and-such a way..."

6. The Girls: I know it sounds horribly stereotypical, but anytime there's a significant number of female employees, they tend to congregate. And go out to lunch a lot. Of course, anytime The Girls go to lunch, the must take the Token Male.

7. The Token Male: Tags along with The Girls when they go out to lunch or sit around and chat on breaks (or just randomly during the day). This is not always the same person--this status can shift from male to male around the office. Usually ends up listening to the male-bashing done by The Girls and occasionally tries to defend the male gender, but ultimately fails and admits to the occasional crappiness of said gender, while eliciting concessions from The Girls that women are pretty much nuts too.

8. Candid Chick: The woman who always says what's on her mind, ignoring any filtering system that might be present in her brain. While there may be candid guys as well, Candid Chick always takes precedence. Provides hours of entertainment and side-splitting laughter to her coworkers.
