Brief Update...

OK, so its way past my bedtime, but see, I have an excuse, I'm reliving my childhood, no not the whole thing, but, like a section of it.

That section when I was like 12 yrs old, say 6th grade, and absolutely bored with school, not the learning mind you, just the building, and the stupid classmates, and the social BS...anyways, so on nights like tonight, I get nostalgic...

...cause its supposed to snow overnight tonight here, like 5-8 inches, which isnt an awful lot, but it can and will close schools, esp. with it falling from like 3AM-Noon here, which yes, though I'm an adult, I so can't wait to call my job and be like "gee, Interstate's not plowed, can't work today, sorry, what a freakin shame!" And then hang up the phone, roll over and go back to sleep! Which you can do nowadays with cordless/cell phones!

Shit in the OLD days you had to get up out of bed, walk to the room the phone was in, crank the handle, DIAL [rotary phone] seven numbers, and THEN talk to someone.

You kids have it so easy!
