Sheesh...

Dad is home, for now, bypass scheduled for Wed., 10/11. Ugh, I know docs prefer to have this stuff choreographed well in advance, and yes my dad needs to get over his pneumonia first [which he has an armload of antibiotics for btw] before they can operate...but, ugh, its what I imagine waiting for an executioner must be like....

[Envisions some bureaucratic bean counter with a clipboard and beedy little eyes and all smug in his self importance telling me...]

"Sorry your life [work, family, friends] will come screeching to a halt, on, ummm, uhhhh, check my tee times, uh, Oct. 11th, while you actually sit around all day on pins and needles waiting for good news, I suggest that day reading a copy of Radiology Monthly or something"
