MY FIRST MISSED ROAD TRIP :(

So I was supposed to go to South Carolina this weekend - to visit Beta Kappa @ Clemson and see Freshboy's stomping grounds with him as tour guide.

Plus, I'd get to take South Carolina off the "States I've Never Spent a Night In!" list! NICE

Sadly, as you can tell from the title, I had to cancel... Wed morning I'm in an all morning meeting, and about 11AM I start getting a case of the chills. Not just oooh, a cool breeze kind, no, I get bone rattling, teeth chattering, why the hell am I all of a sudden shivering like mad chills. I'm thinking no this cant be happening, I'm supposed to go home & pack for a flight Thurs night - not be sucking down NyQuil!

Ugh, well long story, rather than put my travelling companions Ayana & Odie through that, I mean we've all road tripped with sick people at one time or another, its not fun, ESPECIALLY in an airplane.

So, I bowed out of the trip, spent Thur & Fri recovering an NyQuil napping, was pissed that I felt well on Sat., but phht, I've already lost one airfare, not trying for a second, and stayed home, and just rested for four days straight so I could return to work on Monday.

Anyways, was a first for me that I'm not thrilled at, especially when I saw what awaited me at work, but thats a story for another time....
